The Absentee Father

By registering for and attending any Debate House event, whether in person or online, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by The Debate House Rules and Session Guidelines. In particular, participants agree that discussions operate under The Debate House Rule: “Take the ideas. Leave the identities.” Participants may freely discuss and share ideas, insights, and lessons arising from the session; however, they shall not publicly attribute comments, opinions, experiences, affiliations, or identities of any participant, speaker, or guest without that person’s express consent. By attending, participants further agree to engage respectfully, maintain the confidentiality expectations of the forum, and comply with any reasonable directions issued by The Debate House moderators or management. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in removal from the session and restriction from future Debate House events.
